When balanced, its energy helps us to blend the physical and spiritual, and to eliminate that which is no longer needed for growth. We enjoy physical existence. How to Meditate

http://www.wikihow.com/Meditate

How to Meditate

Meditation is a mental discipline by which one attempts to get beyond the conditioned, “thinking” mind into a deeper state of relaxation or awareness. There are many different meditationmethods.

At the core of meditation is the goal to focus and eventually quiet your mind. As you progress, you will find that you can meditateanywhere and at any time, accessing an inner calm no matter what’s going on around you. But first, you have to learn to tame your mind.

Make time to meditate. Set aside enough time in your daily routine for meditating. The effects ofmeditation are most noticeable when you do it regularly and consistently rather than sporadically.

Find or create a quiet, relaxing environment. It’s especially important, when you’re starting out, to avoid any obstacles to attention. Turn off any TV sets, phone(s) or other noisy appliances. If you play music, make sure it’s calm, repetitive and gentle, so as not to break your concentration. Meditating outside can be conducive, as long as you don’t sit near a busy roadway or another source of loud noise.

Sit on level ground. Sit on a cushion if the ground is uncomfortable. You don’t have to twist your limbs into the lotus position or adopt any unusual postures. The important thing is to keep your back straight, as this will help with breathing later on.

Keep your eyes half-open without focusing on anything. If this is too distracting or difficult, close them or find something steady to focus on such as a small candle flame.

Breathe deeply and slowly from your abdomen rather than your chest. You should feel your stomach rise and fall while your chest stays relatively still. Healthy, stress relieving breathing may be done by inhaling for count of 3, exhaling for count of 6, repeat over and over for 15 to 20 minutes. This expels the used air and more completely oxygenates your blood, lowering heart rate and blood pressure. Many high blood pressure patients have dropped their blood pressure as much as 50 points, allowing them to decrease or eliminate the need for medication. This breathing exercise should be done on a regular basis.

Relax every muscle in your body. Don’t rush this, as it takes time to fully relax. Do it bit by bit, starting at your toes, and working up to your head, until the tension melts away.

Focus your attention. You may notice that your mind wants to wander, bouncing from thought to thought, making observations about other things. Gently bring your attention back to a single point until it rests there naturally. The goal is to allow the “chattering” in your mind to gradually fade away. Find an “anchor” to settle your mind.

Let your attention rest on the flow of your breath. Listen to it, follow it, but make no judgments on it (such as “It sounds a little raspy…maybe I’m getting a cold?”).

To overcome verbal chatter, recite a mantra (repetition of a sacred word). A single word like “aum” uttered at a steady rhythm is best. You can recite it verbally or just with the voice in your mind. Beginners may find it easier to count their breaths. Try counting your breath from 1 to 10, then simply start again at 1.

To circumvent images that keep intruding on your thoughts, visualize a place that calms you. It can be real or imaginary. Imagine you are at the top of a staircase leading to a peaceful place. Count your way down the steps until you are peaceful and relaxed.

For some people, focusing attention on a point or object does exactly the opposite of what meditation is all about. It takes you back to the life of ‘focus’, ‘concentration’, ‘strain’. In this case, as an alternative to the above techniques, some meditators recommend un-focusing your attention. Instead of focusing attention on a point or an object, this type of meditation is achieved by attaining a state of zero

Silence your mind. Once you’ve trained your mind to focus on just one thing at a time, the next step is focus on nothing at all, essentially “clearing” your mind. This requires tremendous discipline but is the pinnacle of meditation. After focusing on a single point as described in the previous step, you can either cast it away, or observe it impartially and let it come and then go, without labeling it as “good” or “bad”. Take the same approach to any thoughts which return to your mind until silence perseveres.

Spiritual Development depends on your ability to Forgive others.

Your ability to “fly” in the Inner World depends on Inner Forgiveness.

If you do not Forgive, you will continue to think about the offender and the unpleasant event.
By Forgiving and Blessing, you stop wallowing in mud and you achieve Inner Peace and Freedom.

Do not be unhappy.
The past is the past!
Let go, learn to Forgive and Forget.
Let Go and Go on Living!

The way to handle your enemies is to Forgive and Forget.
Otherwise, you will become their nanny, mother or father, wiping their backside in your future incarnation.
Anger and hatred chains two souls together.

Learn to Forgive, Forgive and Forgive!
Do not ask for “an Eye for an Eye”.
If you Forgive, and ask for Forgiveness, the “Link” binding you together will be cut.

To be free, some people must consciously Forgive over and over again.

Anger and Hatred bind people together!
When you Hate someone, it creates an “Energy Link” with the person.
You become chained to the person and your Soul becomes entangled with that person.

Energy Centers or Chakras

Chakras aka Energy Centers

Pranic energy flows thru these centers, or Chakras and

these Chakras have their own symbols & healing colors.

Every chakra controls energy for certain parts of body. Therefore it is very

important that flow of energy is constant in whole body at all times. These

chakras not only have a color but they also represent sounds as below. It

is important to know that since the science of Yoga originated in India, the

letters of chakras are in Hindi, that were later  translated into English too.

To activate the flow of energy in these chakras, Prana can be sent there

after cleaning these chakras.

Chakras are whirling energy centers and are very important parts of the bioplasmic body. Just as the visible physical body has vital and minor organs the bioplasmic body has major, minor, and mini chakras. Major chakras are whirling energy centers, which are about three to four inches in diameter. They control and energise the major and vital organs of the visible physical body. Major chakras are just like power stations that supply vital energy to major and vital organs. When the power stations malfunction the vital organs become sick or diseased because they do not have enough vital energy to operate properly!  ***** Sickness may also be caused by a persisting condition of excess prana in localized area or areas. This is called pranic congestion.

You can learn to feel the inner auras with your palms in two to four sessions by following the instructions in the book, Miracles Through Pranic Healing.

***** Everybody has their own method for cleaning and clearing crystals. Best method is to rinse crystals -> apply a bit of soft soap -> rinse again -> place them on a soft cloth to dry -> place in the sunlight for a few hours -> set them in place in my home, the location sometimes changing as guided by your soul or the crystals.  It’s always good to have a few quartz crystals around your home to balance the energies, even if you do not need healing.

Cleaning Enegy of Clear Crystals: Crystals should be cleansed when they could have taken on any ambient energies which are not entirely positive. Crystals take on that which they interact with, and if they are in a household for a long time, unless they are strongly programmed not to, they will generally take on some of the emotions of the family, so should be cleaned regularly with sea salt in water overnight. Similarly, if they are worn on the body as jewelry, they should be cleaned any time you feel significant negative emotions or they will continue to amplify them. If you wear them into a dubious environment, be sure to clean them afterwards, as they can pick up what is around them. Cleaning the crystals may seem theoretical unless you can actually feel the relief of what a room can feel like once the crystals in it are clean and no longer holding onto and amplifying whatever drama housed itself in the crystals. Patterns of behavior of people in the house may change once the crystals are cleaned, health may improve, moods lift, and things work out more smoothly. You can channel healing through a tiny, pointed crystal into a reflexology point for example, and amplify the healing work. However, after going something like this, just remember to clean not only your hands and arms with salt water, but the crystal as well, and you will find yourself healthier and less likely to transfer physical problems from one person to the next. You can see auras in people as well as crystals.
